Spring 2023 COVID-19 Guidelines

• Skidmore will continue to follow CDC recommendations for masking on campus. 当 Community Level is “low” (as it is now) or “medium,” masking indoors will not be required on campus but will continue to be supported. 当 Community Level is “high,” masking indoors will be required.
• Skidmore continues to be a mask-supportive and mask-friendly community. 个人, including those at high risk, should feel free and comfortable to wear a mask whenever and wherever they wish.
• 戴口罩是 强烈推荐 while traveling, in high-density settings where are large group is gathered for an extended period, or in other places where transmission may be more likely.
• If you know you have been exposed to COVID-19 or if you are symptomatic, please 不 attend group gatherings or events.
• Masks will be made available at all public events. Individuals or groups hosting events may continue to obtain free KN95 masks through 设施.
• Free KN95 masks will continue to be available to all members of the Skidmore community, as well as visitors, at Campus 安全 and at the Case Information 桌子上.

• Students may continue to pick up free rapid tests at Case Information 桌子上 or at Campus 安全. Please mask up and test if symptoms develop.
• 教职员工: Please be aware that four free covid tests/household are available through http://www.covid.gov /Testing. 此外, 最有价值球员 will cover the costs of rapid COVID tests. Please use these avenues as your primary resources for obtaining free tests. If you have an immediate need or are concerned about a workplace exposure, you may pick up a test at Campus 安全 or the Case Information 桌子上.
• If you test positive, students must notify covidsupport@ngskmc-eis.net. Faculty and staff are asked to alert their supervisor and 人力资源.
• Vaccinations remain among our best defenses in protecting ourselves and others. If you have not received your COVID booster or your flu shot, please consider doing so as soon as you are eligible.

• All visitors to campus are now 强烈建议 (not required) to be fully vaccinated, including booster.
